Peter, Age 3, Autism

"Before Hyperbarics, Peter was always sick and rarely smiled. We saw very little progress in his ABA program and he had trouble just staying awake for Speech and Occupational Therapy. We started seeing improvements very quickly. He stopped getting sick, even though we were treating in the middle of winter. He also started progressing in his ABA program and was finally meeting goals that had been in place for over a year. The best thing of all, was Peter started to smile and laugh more. It is hard to appreciate the importance of a smile, but after living without them for the last 2 years, it is the biggest gift of all, and we would have never been able to get it without the Cherish Foundation. Thank You."   -Peter's Mom

Jacob, Age 4, Autism

Jake has started to say "I love you" appropriately. He has said the words before, but never actually knew what they meant, or used them in the right context. Since we've started oxygen therapy he has said "I love you" three times, and each time it was obvious, he meant it! Also, the other day, I was flipping through radio stations when jake said "Stop, want that one." He has never showed any interest in songs or radio programs, or even showed that he was actually listening before. But he made me go back through the radio station and stop on a specific song that he liked. I tested him by switching to a different song and I couldn't believe it, he said, "No, not that one," until I finally went back to the song he liked and he said "Yeah, that one." Wow. Thanks Cherish. Oxygen therapy would have never been an option without your support. - Jacob's Mom
