1/3/2009 Special Diets for Special Kids A Review of some of the most successful diets that are being used to help treat children with Neurological conditions and Gastrointestinal Disorders

2007/2008 The Cherish Foundation was able to sponsor a Study on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Autism in Coordination with the MIND Institute, which also provided Free treatment to 10 kids in need.

8/2/2008 The 2008 Falmouth Road Race Was a Succes, thanks to all that participated. Again, this year, the Falmouth Road Race Committee donated highly prized registrations to CHERISH for runners to use in exchange for raising funds for our "CHERISH a Child" fund to pay for medical therapies for brain injured children.

The Falmouth race is one of the most prestegious running races in the US. It is a tough, 7.2 mile run (sprint, actually) that winds from the Captian Kidd Restaurant in old Woods Hole, past Nobska Lighthouse, up and down some mild hills through the Woods Hole forest to the open road along the beach to Falmouth Heights.

The FRR Committee generously donates coveted FRR Registrations every year and we get runners from all walks of life, and all different running abilities. But, their commonality is each person is dedicated to helping children who cannot help themselves. There is no greater honor than to be with such generous and giving people!

I am also excited because as an ex-runner, I can think of no greater motivation to run and win than to do it for a child like Rebecca! Even though I have no chance of winning, or even competing in this race, I know we are all great winners because we are truly changing the lives of these kids!

Also, CHERISH has been able to get every dollar matched. So, when a runner provides a $750 donation, they are actually providing $1,500 in necessary medical care that will transform a child's life and opportunities.
