The CHERISH Research Program

CHERISH is establishing a leading Medical Advisory Board to support its clear medical research mission.  Worldwide, hundreds and thousands of valuable HBOT studies have been completed, but remain unaccepted in the US. 

CHERISH seeks to supplement, or duplicate these studies to bring them to acceptable US format, and acceptance.  Thus, CHERISH will be pursuing a highly successful research program!

For example, a recently completed study on 100 patients in China using HBOT to treat for severe seizures demonstrated that HBOT fully cures seizures and eliminates the need for any medications in 43% of those patients!  In fact, only 18% of all patients studied showed no benefits from HBOT.

When viewed alternatively, few proven and accepted anti-seizure drugs are effective in treating seizures in more than 20-30% of patients.  Also, anti-seizure medications ahve severe side effects and must be stopped over time.

Also, clinically, HBOT has been found to be very successful in helping children with autism.  Yet, no study has ever been pursued. 

These are two of a number of important studies CHERISH hopes to implement between 2005 and 2008.

CHERISH looks to concerned individuals, medical and social organizations, as well as the Federal Government to support these efforts.
