The CHERISH a Child FundThe "CHERISH a Child" Fund has been established to help pay for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapies for brain injured children, including children suffering from:
These children are denied their rights for treatments as mandated by Federal Medicaid Laws. Since its inception, every brain injured child must be automatically accepted into the Federal Medicaid program, and must receive HBOT when prescribed by a physician, regardless of the state's own regulations, or acceptance of that therapy. Today, despite numerous successful lawsuits, Federal Court Rulings, and legislative efforts, no state provides HBOT to any brain injured child. Therefore, the "CHERISH a Child" Fund is a very important effort to help those who need the most help, and are denied their Federal Medicaid Rights. How much should you donate? That is entirely up to you. But, consider this. On average, a single HBOT session costs approximately $175 across the country. So, if you could donate enough money for one session, or two, you woudl specifically be making a difference in a child's life!
